Otomi embroidery originates from the central Mexican region. Traditionally Otomi women use it to represent colourful motifs inspired by nature:
Scenes full of flowers, butterflies, and various elements of Mexican flora and fauna. These elements are present in all the designs, but each piece is unique. The idea is that each craftswoman gives free rein to her creativity to create unique pieces.
On top of the traditionally multi-coloured pattern collection and also bring to you single coloured patterns collections.
As they are handmade, the designs are diverse and may differ slightly from the presentation pictures. If you are particularly interested in one of our designs, please feel free to contact us. We will be glad to put it aside specially for you.
The designs are embroidered with cotton thread on the front side on an unbleached cotton fabric. The back is plain. Invisible zip on the side. Different sizes available. Pillow insert not included.
